Three MIAA teams to appear in the NCAA Basketball Tournament

Standing alone as the last remaining unbeaten team in any division of NCAA Women’s Basketball at 27-0, the Hope Women's basketball team is set to begin their NCAA tournament journey on home territory.

Now the no. 1 ranked team in the nation, the Flying Dutch open the NCAA tournament as first and second-round hosts on Friday-Saturday, March 6-7 at DeVos Fieldhouse.

The Flying Dutch drew Grove City (Pennsylvania) as their first-round opponent and play the Wolverines on Friday at 7:30 p.m. Grove City (25-2) earned its automatic bid last Saturday, winning the Presidents’ Athletic Conference Tournament Championship over Washington and Jefferson College.

This marks this 14th appearance in the NCAA Tournament in the last 15 seasons for the Flying Dutch.
