All-MIAA Men’s Outdoor Track & Field Team Released; Adrian’s Davis and Alma’s Rodriguez Claim Most Valuable Honors

The Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) announced its All-MIAA Men’s Outdoor Track & Field Team on Thursday.

Adrian hurdler Jordan Davis, a sophomore from Ottawa Lake, earned the Most Outstanding Runner award after winning a pair of titles at the MIAA Field Day. Davis took home two crowns by winning both the 110 meter hurdles (15.16) and the 400 meter hurdles (55.04). 

Alma jumper Austin Rodriguez, a senior from Fairgrove, claimed Most Outstanding Field Performer honors at the MIAA Field Day. Rodriguez opened the competition with a long jump victory on day one, measuring a distance of 22-10.75 to claim the title. He followed up his long jump victory with a triple jump crown on day two with a winning leap of 13.63 meters.
