Sophomore Emilee Bassett (Bryan, Ohio / Bryan) assisted the Thunder to a 5-4 edge at Anderson and a 9-0 sweep in the conference opener versus Olivet.  Bassett partnered with Haley Straub at No. 2 doubles for an 8-2 win against Anderson.  At No. 2 singles, Bassett dominated with a 6-1, 6-2 win.  Against the Comets, Bassett and Straub notched an 8-1 victory at the second doubles flight.  Bassett then swept her No. 2 singles opponent 6-0, 6-0.
