Sophomore Alexis Maloney (St. Johns, Mich. / St. Johns) assisted the Thunder to a 7-2 season-opening victory over Earlham on Saturday. Maloney partnered with Elina Locane at No. 1 doubles for an 8-1 win against their opponents. She followed that with a 6-0, 6-0 sweep versus her No. 3 singles competitor.
