Senior guard/forward Evan Thomas (Okemos, Mich. / Okemos) propelled the third-seeded Flying Dutchmen to the MIAA Tournament title after sweeping their competition over the week.  Hope notched an 82-63 victory over Adrian in the first round, followed by a 67-56 win against Trine in the semifinals and a 61-54 victory versus Calvin in the championship.  Thomas nearly had a double-double versus the Bulldogs with 14 points and a game high of seven assists.  He also had four rebounds and three steals.  Thomas earned a double-double vs. the Thunder with a game-best 19 points and 11 rebounds, followed by a 14-point performance against the Knights.
