Sophomore Karen Bekhet (Whitinsville, Mass. / Whitinsville Christian) had a fantastic series of performances at the Al Owens Invitational hosted by Grand Valley State.  Bekhet competed in the hammer, discus, and shot put, hitting lifetime bests in all three events.  Her mark of 41.94m in the discus leads the MIAA by almost 2m and is currently ranked 31st in the nation.  Bekhet's shot put mark of 12.49m jumps her up to No. 4 in the conference and just outside of the national top 50.  Her hammer distance was a nearly 4m personal best.
