Senior Madelyn Summers (Kendalville, Ind. / East Noble) competed at the Emory University Thrills in the Hills over the weekend.  Summers threw the hammer 44.36m which was good enough for fourth place in the competition.  She is currently ranked first in the MIAA and 21st in the nation.  Summers also placed seventh in the shot put with a throw of 11.83m.  She is currently tied-for-33rd in the country.
