• The 2017 MIAA Women's Cross Country Championship Oct. 28 at Raisin Valley Golf Club saw a three-peat for the Hope women's team, as the Flying Dutch scored 20 points in a dominant performance.
After a group of three led midway through the race, Hope's Alexis Guttilla came from behind the leaders late to take the individual title in 21:58.0. Teammate Emily Hamilton (21:59.9) crossed second, while Trine's Kyla Binfet was third (22:00.8). Hope then added fourth, fifth, and eighth-place finishes.
