• Adrian placed 12th out of 15 teams at the SUNY Geneseo Cross Country Invitational Sept. 30, with Olivia Vasiloff (Sr., Vermillion, Ohio) leading the Bulldogs with a 24th place finish.

• Calvin was competitive at Notre Dame's Joe Piane Invitational Sept. 29, with three runners finishing in the top 1000 against all NCAA Division I programs. Katie Diekema (Jr., Kenmore, Wash.) was 24th with a time of 17:57 on the 5K course.

• Hope took third among non NCAA Division I and Division II teams at the Greater Louisville Classic Sept. 30. Emily Hamilton (Jr., Naperville, Ill.) finished seventh in the Blue Division with a time of 18:22.76.

• Kalamazoo ran in the Silver Division of the Greater Louisville Classic Sept. 30, finishing 23rd overall in a 38-team field. Hannah Hamilton (Jr., Pinckney, Mich.) led the Hornets with a 53rd-place finish in 20:26.

• Trine was 14th in the Blue division at the Greater Louisville Classic, led by Evonne Bultemeyer (Fr., Fort Wayne, Ind.) with her 37th place finish.

• Earning MIAA Athlete of the Week honors for Oct. 2 was:

  - Emily Hamilton, Hope

• In the Oct. 3 release of the USTFCCCA regional rankings, Hope and Calvin remained 1-2 in the Great Lakes Region.
