• All nine MIAA institutions competed at the MIAA Jamboree Sept. 23, with Hope taking the team title while Calvin's Katie Diekema (Jr., Kenmore, Wash.) winning the event with a 35-second victory in 21:48.6. Hope's Emily Hamilton (Jr., Naperville, Ill.) crossed the line for a second-place finish in 22:27.0, while Trine's Kyla Binfet (Sr., Branson, Mont.) was third in 22:38.4 for a Trine program record on a day with high heat index.
Hope had four of the top seven finishers to score 34 points as a team.
