Hope won the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Women's Outdoor Track and Field Championship after finishing the final day of events with a total of 234 points.
Hope sophomore Ana Tucker finished the 1500m run in record-breaking fashion with a time of 4:32.25. Tucker shattered the previous 2015 record of 4:35.48.
Trine junior Valerie Obear is now a two-time champion in the discus throw after today's performance of 41.47m.
Calvin senior Annie Needs defended her MIAA title in the 3000m steeplechase with a time of 11:05.4.
Freshman Haley Livingston of Trine earned her second victory of the weekend after a first-place finish in the triple jump (10.61m).
Adrian senior Britney Carnegie finished first in the javelin with a throw of 39.99m.
Hope's first-place 4 x 100m relay (48.97) included Helen Dodge, Amanda Lines, Kimmie Drake, and Grace Behrens. Behrens also finished first in the 400m dash, clocking in at 58.43. Lines won the 200m dash in 26.04.
Calvin senior Renee Miller notched a victory in the 100m hurdles with a time of 15.88.
Freshman Avery Campbell of Albion won the 100m dash after finishing in 12.85.
Calvin freshman Delaney Sall earned a first-place finish in the 800m run (2:14.58).
Hope's first-place 4 x 400m relay included Julie Timperman, Hayley Scollard, Hannah Kenny, and Grace Behrens. Scollard tacked on 10 points for the Flying Dutch after winning the 400m hurdles in 1:06.32, followed by Rebecca Markham with 10 points in the 5000m run (17:58.63).
