• Albion took third place overall at the Ohio Northern Polar Bear Invitational April 22. Emilee Kinney (So., Kenochee, Mich.) set a meet record in the 100m dash (12.62) and won the 200m dash with an Albion-record time of 25.79; Kinney also anchored the 4x100m relay team that crossed first in 50.82.

• Calvin was part of the field at the Al Owens Classic, hosted by Grand Valley State. Allison Rozell (Fr., Grand Rapids, Mich.) posted the top distance in the MIAA this year with her throw of 37.80m in the javelin; Rozell finished second overall at the meet.

• Hope's Rachael Webb (Jr., Grand Rapids, Mich.) moved into the lead in the MIAA in the 800m run with her time of 2:16.04 at the GVSU Al Owens Classic, good for sixth at the event. Erin Herrmann (Sr., Wheaton, Ill.) ran both the 800m run and 1500m run at the event, with her sixth-place time of 4:36.16 in the 1500m run ranking as the fastest in the MIAA this spring and 14th in the nation.

• Olivet was in action at the Al Owens Classic, and the Comets saw a highlight performance by Isabelle Leon (Jr., Grand Rapids, Mich.) in the 800m run; Leon improved her school record with a time of 2:22.42 to take 19th.

• Trine took part in the Al Owens Classic, where Kyla Binfet (Jr., West Yellowstone, Mont.) finished second in the 3000m steeplechase with a time of 11:32.88, which was also a personal best.

At the Indiana Little States Championship April 22, Kara Eck (Jr., Auburn, Ind.) improved both her school record and national standing with her throw of 57.62m to move into second nationally.
