Trine’s Bultemeyer highlights the Eleven MIAA Women's Indoor Track & Field Athletes Named USTFCCCA All-Region

Trine’s junior Evie Bultemeyer led the eleven Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association women’s indoor track and field athletes that earned All-Great Lakes Region honors, announced by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) by being named the Great Lakes Region Women’s Indoor Track Athlete of the Year.

Bultemeyer, the 2020 MIAA champion in the 400m, mile, and 800m where she set the MIAA record with 2:17.59 was a four-time All-Region in the 400m, 800m, mile, and 3000m. She was the number one seed for the mile at the national championship meet.

Joining Bultemeyer as two-time All-Region selections were Hope’s Mitchel Achien’g in the 60m and triple jump and Anastasia Tucker in the 3000m and the distance medley relay.

The top five individuals in each event from each region earned All-Region distinction, in addition to each of the members of the region’s top three relays teams.
