Eleven MIAA Wrestlers Garner All-Academic Honors from NWCA

Manheim, Pa. – On Thursday (March 14), the NWCA announced the full slate of 2018-19 Academic Team and Individual honorees for NCAA Division III with awards going to 261 individuals representing 83 institutions.

Of the individuals honored, 11 wrestlers from three MIAA wrestling programs garnered accolades for their academic and athletic success in 2018-19. Olivet led the way with seven honorees, while Alma and Trine each had two.

The individual honorees included All-MIAA wrestlers Reese Wallis (133), Zach Cooper (149), and MIAA Most Valuable Wrestler Tyler Grimsley (165 lbs).
