LEXINGTON, Ky. – The Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) announced its end of the season national awards on Monday night at the WGCA Banquet which kicks off the NCAA Division III Women's Golf National Championship. Part of the awards announced are the 2023-24 All-Region Teams consisting of 12 golfers from each region. Representing the Adrian College women's golf team on the All-Region list is Lauren Reed.
Reed was the MIAA Runner-Up as an individual this season after forcing a three-hole playoff at the MIAA Spring Final. Reed was a First Team All-MIAA selection after shooting 476 through six MIAA rounds to average 79.33.
Reed also led the Bulldogs to a first-place finish at the Adrian Spring Invite where she placed second in the tournament after shooting 77 for the Bulldogs. Adrian finished the season ranked 34th as a team with the help of placing fifth in one of the toughest Division III women's golf tournaments in the country at the Max/Susan Stith Invite in Virginia where Reed shot 75 and 77 for the two rounds.
Reed earns the WGCA All-Region honor during her junior season and will be returning to the Bulldogs next year looking to make a run at another MIAA Title.
