Adrian College's Brent Greenwood Selected as 2024 MIAA Women's Golf Coach of the Year

HUDSONVILLE, Mich. -- The Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) proudly announces Adrian College's Brent Greenwood as the 2024 Women's Golf Coach of the Year.

This prestigious accolade is a coaches vote based on the achievements of their colleagues both during regular- and post-season competition.

Greenwood was selected as the 2024 Women's Golf Coach of the Year after leading the Bulldogs to a second-place finish during the regular season with a team average of 325.33.

"It's an honor to receive the women's MIAA Coach of the Year award," commented Greenwood.  "The credit all goes to the players on the course.  They're a great group and I can't wait to get after it come the fall."

Under the leadership of Greenwood, four women's golfers received 2024 All-MIAA honors including three-time All-MIAA honoree Riley Kleck, two-time All-MIAA golfers Lauren Reed and Olivia Ohmer, and first-time honoree Sara Bevington.

In his three seasons at the helm of the women's program, Greenwood has led the Bulldogs to the 2022 regular-season championship and the 2023 MIAA Tournament title and coached 2022 MIAA Medalist Olivia Ohmer.  Adrian has finished in the top three of the conference standings since the 2014 Adrian alum took over.
