CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. - Saint Mary's senior Hunter Kehoe was one of only eight NCAA Division III women's golfers to be named First Team All-American by the Women's Golf Coaches Association for the 2020-21 year.

A native of Traverse City, Michigan, Kehoe finished tied for sixth at the 2021 NCAA Division III Women's Golf Championships last week with a combined score of 308. Her final day saw Kehoe tie for the lowest back-nine score (-2) among players in the top ten of the field. Kehoe finished the championship tournament with the second-best par four scoring effort, trailing only the 2021 individual national champion in the category. In 11 rounds of play throughout the season, Kehoe posted a 76.73 average score with a low round of a 70 in the second tournament of the season. She was ninth in all of Division III women's golf in average score and score versus par. Kehoe's 24 birdies this spring was the third-highest among players with fewer than 12 rounds of golf played.

"Hunter has had a huge impact on this program in her four years and is very deserving of this honor," said head coach Jordan Koehler. "Her hard work and determination in the face of adversity this year was unmatched. This recognition is the culmination of everything she has worked toward throughout her career."

The senior also picked up All-Region honors as one of 12 student-athletes named to the Region 4/Great Lakes All-Region list for 2020-21.

It is the second All-American honor for Kehoe as she garnered Honorable Mention All-American status for the 2019-20 academic year. She becomes just the third Saint Mary's golfer to earn All-American honors multiple times in a career. Additionally, she is only the second player to be named First Team All-American in program history.
