
LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- The Calvin University squad and Hope College's Nick Hoffman represented the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) at the 2021 NCAA Division III Men's Cross Country Championship on Saturday, November 20, at E.P. Tom Sawyer State Park in Louisville, Kentucky.
The Knights were led by the MIAA's 2021 Most Valuable Runner, Brandan Knepper. Knepper concluded the race in 103rd place - out of 294 runners - with a time of 24:52.8. Noah Cummisford, a 2021 First Team All-MIAA runner, concluded the race in 163rd place (25:09.6), followed by three-time All-MIAA honoree Ryan Vreeke in 176th place with a time of 25:17.2. First Team All-MIAA honoree William Hofmann (25:39.3), Second Team All-MIAA recipient Luke Witvliet (25:44.0), and First Team All-MIAA runner Thaine Nederveld (26:08.7) also competed for the Knights.
Hope's Nick Hoffman finished the 8K in 25:05.7 for a 152nd-place finish. Hoffman is a two-time All-MIAA honoree.
Calvin finished 27th at the 2021 NCAA Championships with 653 points.
