NCAA Great Lakes Regional Results
Calvin turned in a relentless team performance as all five scoring runners were in the top 18 and all seven in the top 26 as the Knights successfully defended their title at the 2017 NCAA Division III Men's Cross Country Great Lakes Regional Nov. 11 at Liberty Park in Powell, Ohio.
Calvin's Andrew Philipose was the top MIAA finisher, placing third overall with a time of 25:16.3 on the 8K course. Albion's Andrew Bill crossed the line in seventh place with a time of 25:36.0, earning a berth to the NCAA Championships Nov. 18.
Mark DeJong, the MIAA Championship medalist, placed ninth in 25:44.8, while teammates Nathanael Dick (15th, 26:00.1), Tyler Johnson (16th, 26:00.5), and Jamison Koeman (18th, 26:03.6) rounded out the Knights' scoring runners.
the 2017 NCAA Division III Men's Cross Country Championships are set for Nov. 18 at the North Farm Facility in Elsah, Illinois.
