All-MIAA - Men's Lacrosse - 2024

HUDSONVILLE, Mich. -- At the conclusion of the 2024 Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) men's lacrosse regular season, head coaches from the MIAA's seven member institutions that sponsor men's lacrosse voted on All-MIAA awards.

Hope College senior attacker Michael Mann was voted the 2024 MIAA Offensive Player of the Year after assisting the Flying Dutchmen to an unblemished league record (6-0).  Mann concluded conference play as the league's leader with four man-up goals and finished in the top five with 18 points, 11 goals, and 23 shots on goal.  He is now a four-time All-MIAA honoree and was selected as the MIAA Men's Lacrosse Offensive Athlete of the Week on March 18.

Senior defender Ethan Boelens of Calvin University earned the honor of 2024 MIAA Defensive Player of the Year after leading the Knights to a 4-2 mark in conference play.  Boelens finished the regular season as the conference leader with 19 caused turnovers.  He became a First Team All-MIAA honoree for the first time in his career this season and was named the MIAA Men's Lacrosse Defensive Athlete of the Week three times this year.

Hope freshman attacker Gibson Heethuis was selected as the 2024 MIAA Rookie of the Year.  At the conclusion of league play, Heethuis finished in the top two with 21 points, 13 assists, and a man-down goal.  In his inaugural season on the squad, Heethius earned MIAA Men's Lacrosse Athlete of the Week on March 11.

Adrian College's Cameron Reed and Sam Spangler became three-time All-MIAA honorees this season.  Eight player are now two-time All-MIAA recipients, including the following: Adrian's Michael Jonas; Albion College's Timmy Salinas and Cal Stearns; Calvin University's Josh Gage and Thomas Smith; Hope's Caden Brainard and Luke Wierengo; and Kalamazoo College's Jack Bungart.
