The Hope College men's lacrosse team will make their first appearance in the NCAA Division III Tournament this week in Rochester, N.Y.
Hope (14-3 overall) will play John Carroll University (Ohio) in a first-round game on Tuesday, May 7 at Rochester Institute of Technology. Game time and ticket information are to be announced.
The Hope-John Carroll winner advances to face top-ranked RIT in a second-round game on Wednesday, May 8.
Under the direction of head coach Michael Schanhals, the Flying Dutchmen earned the MIAA's automatic berth for the 36-team NCAA Tournament by defeating Albion College, 6-5, in Saturday's MIAA Tournament championship game at Hope College.
