Week #12 Wrap from April 23-29
• Hope secured the 2018 MIAA Championship with a 14-11 road win at Albion April 24 coupled with a 16-1 victory at Kalamazoo April 28. Against Albion, Nathaniel Hentschel (Spring Lake, Mich.) led the Flying Dutchmen with four assists, while Nick Schanhals (North Muskegon, Mich.) made 15 saves.
• Trine tallied two MIAA wins to punch their ticket into the MIAA tournament, culminating with a 7-3 win at home over Alma April 28. The Thunder outscored Alma 3-0 in the fourth quarter to seal the win.
• Earning MIAA Athlete of the Week honors for April 30 were:
