
FREELAND, Mich. -- The Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) led the NCAA Division III conferences in average men's basketball attendance (757) for the 2020 season. In addition, the MIAA had the second-highest men's basketball attendance total at 68,888.
Out of all Division III men's basketball programs in the NCAA, Hope College was No. 1 in both total (26,571) and average (2,214) home attendance, while Calvin University was fifth with a total of 13,705 and an average of 1,246.
The Calvin vs. Hope game on February 8, 2020, had the highest single-game attendance total (3,350) in 2020, followed by Hope vs. Calvin on January 15th (3,053). The Alma vs. Hope contest on January 25, 2020, had the fourth-highest single-game attendance (2,628).
