
MIAA -- Four Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) men’s basketball players were named to the All-Great Lakes Region by D3Hoops.com and two were named to the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Great Lakes All-District team.
Senior Derrick DeVries of Calvin earned top billing for the MIAA as the only player to be selected first-team by both D3Hoops.com and NABC. This is the second year he has earned All-Great Lakes Region honors. DeVries led the MIAA in points (667), point per game (25.7), and rebounds (228) helping him earn the MIAA Most Valuable Player award and is a three-time first-team All-MIAA.
Albion’s junior Jamezell Davis also earned accolades from both organizations with a second-team All-District from the NABC and third-time All-Great Lakes Region from D3Hoops.com. Davis is a two-time All-MIAA selection.
Junior Jordan Harris of Adrian earned Second-Team All-Great Lakes Region honors. Harris was a first-team All-MIAA honoree placing second in the MIAA in points (600) and he led Adrian in three-points made (94), and assists (99).
Hope’s junior Preston Granger was selected to the third-team All-Great Lakes Region. Granger earned first-team All-MIAA where he was second in field goal percentage (60.4) while leading the Dutch in points per game (20.3) and rebounds per game (7.9).
