
Two Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association men's basketball players earned national honors for their efforts in competition last week. Trine's Myles Copeland (Jr., F, Perrysburg, Ohio) was named the U.S. Basketball Writers Association (USBWA) Tuesday, becoming the second MIAA men's basketball to receive the honor this year:

Copeland, as well as Olivet's Jalen Adams (Sr., G, Saginaw, Mich.), were named to the D3hoops.com National Team of the Week on Monday:

For the week, Copeland averaged 39.0 points and 10.0 rebounds for a 2-0 week for Trine, including a career-high 41 points in the Thunder's win over Calvin Feb. 7. Adams also averaged a double-double with 29.5 points and 16.0 rebounds per game in helping Olivet stay in the MIAA title hunt with two games remaining.
