• Olivet moved up the MIAA standings with a 2-0 week at the turn of the conference slate. The Comets hit the century mark with their 100-93 win over Alma Jan. 25. Aaron Washington (Sr., G, Fort Wayne, Ind.) poured in a game-high 28 points, while Thomas Tsalkitzis (So., F, Thessaloniki, Greece) had an all-around effort including 19 points, nine rebounds, and five assists. Versus Adrian Jan. 28 in their 58-53 win, Eric Ewing (Sr., G, Harper Woods, Mich.) led the charge with 27 points, including 13-of-14 from the free throw line, to go with six rebounds and three assists. 

• Hope maintained its unblemished run in MIAA play with a pair of conference victories. In their weekend win over Albion Jan. 28, Harrison Blackledge (Sr., F, Canton, Ohio) fired 8-of-11 from the field - with two of those misses coming from three-point range - and adding a precise 11-of-11 effort at the line to tally 29 points. The Flying Dutch then rose to an 87-67 victory over Calvin in the biggest Rivalry win for Hope since the 1996 campaign. Blackledge had team-bests of 25 points and seven rebounds.
