Senior goalie Maddie Yakes (Rockford, Mich. / Rockford) led the Flying Dutch to the MIAA Tournament title with a 17-7 win over Albion and a 20-8 win over Trine. Yakes played complete games during the tournament and had a total of nine saves. By keeping Hope's opponents to single digits, Yakes had a 37.5 save percentage for the week. Yakes is now third in the conference in saves at 137 and third in the conference in save percentage at 44.5%.
