Senior pitcher Lauren Clausen (Elk Grove, Ill. / Elk Grove) assisted the Thunder to the 2024 MIAA Softball Tournament title by earning the squad a 17-1 win against Calvin.  In five innings pitched, Clausen only allowed two hits and one run (1.40 ERA) while striking out six batters.  Overall, Clausen is top five in the conference with 7.56 strikeouts per game, a WHIP of .84, a .180 batting-average against, and a 1.96 earned run average.
