Senior forward Tanner Wiegerink (Holland, Mich. / West Ottawa) assisted the third-seeded Flying Dutchmen to the 2024 MIAA Men's Basketball Tournament championship title with a 76-66 victory over Albion in the first round, an 83-68 win at second-seeded Calvin, and a 72-68 overtime win at top-seeded Trine.  Over the week, Wiegerink totaled 49 points, 21 rebounds, three assists, two steals and two blocks, while also going 19-of-23 (.826) from the charity stripe.
