Senior forward Uchenna Egekeze (Huntley, Ill. / Huntley) assisted the Knights to big back-to-back wins versus Albion (89-50) and nationally-ranked Trine (73-66) to secure a share of the MIAA regular season title. On Wednesday, Egekeze led the team defensively to force ten turnovers and a 34.6 shooting percentage from Albion along with four blocks, three steals, and five rebounds. On Saturday, Egekeze contributed offensively with 17 points and eight rebounds. After the game, Egekeze moved into the top 20 in program history with 1,103 career points. Over the week, he shot .556 from the field (10-of-18) and went 8-of-11 (.727) from the free-throw line.
