Sophomore goalkeeper Elana Mitchell (Stevensville, Mich. / Lakeshore) assisted the Hornets to back-to-back shutouts over the week, including a 2-0 victory over Trine and a 1-0 win versus Saint Mary's.  Mitchell totaled seven saves on the week in playing every minute of both contests and directing two outstanding defensive efforts.  In conference play alone, Mitchell leads the league with four shutouts.  She is also second in the MIAA with 540 minutes played, three goals against, a goals-against average of 0.50, a .885 save percentage, and four wins.
