Junior Mark Civanich (Valparaiso, Ind. / Valparaiso) was the individual medalist at the Region V Tournament, hosted by Penn State Altoona at The Virtues Golf Club in Nashport, Ohio.  The competition included a strong field of 15 teams in the region, ranging from Chicago to State College.  Civanich fired a 75-76 for the medalist honors in very tough conditions.  He was also the co-medalist at the MIAA Jamboree No. 3, hosted by Adrian at Tecumseh GC, where he carded an even par 72.
