Senior Theodore Samra (Lansing, Mich. / DeWitt) competed at the Defiance College Early Bird Meet on Friday. Samra threw a lifetime-best mark of 14.81m in the shot put to finish second in the event. He also placed second in the weight throw with a mark of 16.93m, which is his second-best performance of his career. According to TFRRS, Samra is currently seventh in the nation with his weight throw performance and 10th in the shot put.
