2017 MIAA Year In Review - Volleyball

Among the highlights from the 2017 season:

Calvin advanced to the National Semifinal
at the 2017 NCAA Division III Volleyball Championship, falling to Wittenberg in three sets. Along the way, the
Knights defeated four nationally-ranked opponents
.
- Calvin boasted both the National Player of the Year both athletic and academically;
Anna Kamp was named the Player of the Year
by the AVCA, while
Jenna Lodewyk was Academic All-American of the Year
by CoSIDA.
- The Knights posted a 16-0 record against MIAA foes to win the regular season title; Calvin then utilized home-court advantage to win the
MIAA Tournament championship
