Calvin hit .299 for three sets as the Knights hit on all cylanders Saturday afternoon to defeat Hope 25-19, 25-22, 25-21 in the championship match of the 2017 MIAA Volleyball Tournament, hosted by Calvin.
The one-two punch of Anna Kamp (15 kills) and Sarah DeVries (10 kills) guided the Knights' attack. Kamp hit .378, committing just one error on 37 attempts. DeVries hinted at a triple-double with seven digs and eight blocks.
Kamp led with 11 digs, as five players had five or more digs for the Knights. Senior Jenna Lodewyk tallied 30 assists with nine digs and a solo block.
The Knights will find their NCAA Division III Volleyball Championship placement Monday, Nov. 6 at 12:30 p.m. ET.
