Among the highlights from the 2017 season:
- Albion captured their third consecutive MIAA tournament title with an 11-8 win over Alma in the championship contest. Alec Palmer led the attack with four goals in the victory.
- In the 2017 NCAA Championships, Albion lost in the first round to John Carroll, 14-9.
- In Alma's 22-11 win over Calvin April 25, a pair of Scots etched their names in MIAA records: Daniel Buchy tied the MIAA record for goals in a game (9) while Chase Hunyadi set the MIAA benchmark for assists in a game with 12.
