Albion Defeated in NCAA Men's Lacrosse Opener

Albion (15-5) had their 2017 season end Tuesday with a 14-9 loss to John Carroll in the first round of the NCAA Division III Men's Lacrosse Championship in Rochester, N.Y.

After Albion took a 2-0 lead to start the game, John Carroll responded with nine of the next 10 goals to take a 9-3 lead at the half. The deficit was too much for the Brits to overcome, despite closing within four late in the contest.

Alec Palmer notched two goals and an assist for Albion, while Nicolas Bowman registered a game-high three assists.
