Junior Joey Langeman (Carmel, Ind. / Carmel) went 4-0 over the week at 133, including a victory in the final MIAA duals against Adrian and three wins in the MIAA Tournament. Langeman won three of his matchups by pinfall. He claimed the 133-pound title at the MIAA Individual Championships on Saturday to become the first-ever MIAA Champion for Trine University. In the finals of the tournament, he avenged himself with a win against Olivet's Stuart Donlan. Earlier this year, Langeman fell 14-1 to Donlan but won the MIAA Championship Final 2-1. His other results over the week include the following: dual meet win versus Adrian's Tyler Davis (Fall 1:30), Championship Quarterfinal victory over Alma's Dominic Megdanoff (Fall 3:46), Semifinal win by fall over Adrian's Tyler Davis (Fall 1:40).
