Graduate student AJ Miranda (Okemos, Mich./ Okemos) led the Bulldogs to an undefeated tournament run, securing the 2024 MIAA Baseball Tournament Champion title. After defeating Hope 7-4, Kalamazoo 3-2, and Hope 8-3, Miranda and the Bulldogs received an automatic qualification to the NCAA tournament. In 14 at-bats, Miranda recorded two runs on eight hits. The second-team All-MIAA honoree also had three doubles and three RBIs throughout tournament play. Miranda finished the week batting .571 with an on-base percentage of .571 and slugging a .786. He ended the season in the top ten in the conference in batting average, on-base percentage, and slugging percentage.
