Senior kicker/punter Ian Burr (Franklin, Tenn. / Franklin) assisted the Hornets to a 42-10 season-opening victory over Oberlin on Saturday. Burr had four punts for 164 yards with an average of 41.0 yards per punt. He also had three downed inside the 20-yard line with one being inside the 5-yard line and one being inside the 10-yard line. Burr totaled six kickoffs on the day with an average of 51.7 yards per kick and four touchbacks. He also had an onside kick that was recovered by Kalamazoo.
