Around the MIAA

Adrian

The Adrian College women's cross country team was idle last week. The Bulldogs will compete this Saturday at the Mike Woods Open in Mt. Morris, N.Y.


Albion

Albion was idle from competition last week. The Britons will compete Saturday, Sept. 29 at the Loyola Lakefront Invitational.


Alma

The Alma women's cross country team finished in eighth place at the Raider Invitational on Saturday, Sept. 22. Senior Mallory Munderloh (St. Louis, Mich./St. Louis) led the Scots, finishing her race in 19:29.7.

No. 7 Hope

The seventh-ranked Hope College women's cross country team had another outstanding meet on Saturday by placing fifth out of 14 teams at the Grand Rapids Community College Invitational. This meet's finish was unique for the Flying Dutch since a pack of five of Hope's runners all finished within 14 seconds of each other. Junior Breanna VanLaan led Hope by finishing 34th out of 124 runners with a time of 19:36.


Kalamazoo

The Kalamazoo College women's cross country team finished sixth out of 14 teams at the Grand Rapids Community College Raider Invitational this past Saturday at Prairie Woods Park. Lauren Arquette finished 12th overall with a time of 18:28 in the 5K event. Rachael Gallap was 33rd at 19:31 while Hannah Hamilton finished 50th at 19:59. Arquette was honored as the MIAA Runner of the Week for her efforts at the Invitational.


Olivet

The Olivet College women's cross country team finished in 14th-place at the 44th Annual Bill Salter Western Ontario International Invitational. Sophomore Morgan Greenman led Olivet with a 93rd-place finish and time of 26:08 in the 6K race.


Saint Mary's
