Around the MIAA
Adrian
The Adrian College women’s cross country team competed at the Tiffleberg Invitational last weekend. The team is comprised of all freshman and ran to a fourth place finish. Amy Adams paced the Bulldogs and finished fourth overall with a time of 25:30.8. Corissa Hamilton and Alexandrea Moseley finished 14th and 15th with times of 26:18.3 and 26:18.5, respectively.
Albion
Albion was idle from competition last week. The Britons checked in at No. 8 in the Great Lakes region, according to the survey released by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association last week. It is the highest regional ranking for the Britons since 2011 (ranked 6th in week 1).
Alma
Did not compete.
No. 19 Calvin
Finished eighth overall at Michigan State Spartan Invitational with 222 points. Katie Diekema finished 13th overall on 6k course with time of 22:06. She was the top D III finisher of the race. Calvin moved into the national poll last week grabbing the 19th spot.
No. 23 Hope
On a hot and humid morning in Chicago, the Hope College women’s cross-country team came out strong at the Wheaton College (Illinois) Invitational and finished second overall. The 23rd-ranked Flying Dutch totaled 92 points to place behind second-ranked Washington University in St. Louis, who had 24 points. Senior Emily Hamilton of Naperville, Illinois (Naperville North) clocked a third-place time of 22 minutes, 22 seconds. She finished ahead of four WashU runners. Freshman Julia Robleski of Wheaton, Illinois (Wheaton Academy) took 20th for Hope with a run of 23:21.

Saint Mary's
The Belles placed 11th among non-Division I squads in the women's championship race at the National Catholic Invitational hosted by the University of Notre Dame. Katie Glenn was the first Saint Mary's harrier to cross the finish line as the junior posted a personal record time of 20:13.77 to finish 94th in a field of more than 200 runners from DI, DII, DIII, and NAIA programs.
Trine
The Trine University women's cross country team finished second at the Manchester University Invitational at the Blue River CC Course in Shelbyville, Ind.
