MIAA Women's Cross Country Runners Garner Regional, National Honors

Nine Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association women's cross country runners representing four programs received all-region accolades from the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) in November.

Albion's Cassie Vince, Calvin's Katie Diekema and Michelle Koetje, Hope's Emily Hamilton, Avery Lowe, Chelsea Miskelley, and Kelley Beregrine, and Trine's Evonne Bultemeyer and Lacie Piekarski were among the top 35 individual finishers at the NCAA Great Lakes Regional Nov. 10 in Franklin, Ind.

Following the 2018 NCAA Division III Women's Cross Country Championship Nov. 17, Albion's Cassie Vince and Calvin's Katie Diekema earned All-America honors for finishing 10th and 16th overall, respectively.
