Danhoff, Kamp, Lodewyk Garner AVCA All-America Accolades

On Tuesday, the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) realeased its three All-America teams for Division III, with three MIAA student-athletes garnering All-America accolades.

Calvin's Laura Danhoff, Anna Kamp, and Jenna Lodewyk were named All-Americans by the AVCA; Danhoff and Kamp reaped AVCA Division III First-Team All-America honors, while Lodewyk was picked for the second team.

The first team honor for Danhoff, a senior middle blocker, is her first after being an AVCA Second-Team All-American in 2014 and a Third-Team All-American last season.

For Lodewyk, this fall marked her third All-America accolade by the AVCA; the junior setter was a Second-Team All-America honoree last year and a Third-Team All-American selection in 2014.

Kamp's All-American selection is the first of her career.

Hope's Sophia Hackett and Alexis Thompson along with Calvin's Keilahna Castillo, who earned first-team all-region honors last week, were listed as honorable mention All-Americans.
