MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. – For the first time in Albion Athletics history, the NCAA Elite 90 Award is coming to Albion. Senior Avery Campbell was named the NCAA Elite 90 Winner for Division III Outdoor Track and Field. This award is presented to the athlete at the Championship event with the highest GPA.
Campbell recently graduated from Albion as one of the most decorated athletes – both athletically and academically. She earned the honor by ending her undergraduate career with a 4.0 cumulative GPA, majoring in biochemistry.
Additionally, Campbell brought home a pair of First Team All-American honors at the meet. In the 100m dash, she finished fifth before taking seventh in the 200m dash.
