MIAA Women's Indoor Track & Field Week #6 Wrap-Up

• Adrian competed at the Hillsdale Tune-Up Feb. 18, finishing third overall. Among nine top-five finishes were a 3-4 finish in the 60m dash by Rachel Dolphin (Sr., Grand Rapids, Mich.) and Alonia Slappy (Jr., Auburn Hills, Mich.), where the Bulldog duo crossed in 8.13 and 8.21 seconds, respectively.

• Albion was in action at the Hillsdale Tune-Up Feb. 18, where Angela Morrison (Sr., Westland, Mich.) tied for third in the high jump (4 feet, 11.5 inches) and seventh in the 400m dash (1:02.70). 

• Calvin prepped for the MIAAs at the Grand Valley State Tune-Up Feb. 17, where Bethany Love (Sr., Kentwood, Mich.) was third in the shot put (40 feet, 7.5 inches) and 10th in the weight throw (49 feet, 9 inches). 

• Hope was highlighted by a first-place finish in the 4x400m relay at the Grand Valley State Tune-Up Feb. 17, as the quartet won with a time of 4:11.49. Rachael Webb (Jr., Grand Rapids, Mich.) not only aided in that effort, but placed fifth in the 800m run (2:16.59).

• Olivet competed at Hillsdale Feb. 18, where Kimberly Barber (So., Gobles, Mich.) broke the Comets record in the triple jump, bounding for 34 feet, 4 inches. Barber also was fourth in the long jump (17 feet, 0.5 inches) and fifth in the 60m dash (8.23).
