• Adrian competed at the Tiffin Invitational Feb. 11 in a strong showing for the women's 4x400m relay team. Takiyah Smith (Sr., Rochester, Mich.), who ran in the quartet's time of 4:17.20, also was seventh in the 60m hurdles (9.43).
• Albion was among three MIAA teams at the Aquinas Open Feb. 10. Brits T'Ana Smith (So., Denver, Colo.) hit a personal best in the triple jump, winning the event with a mark of 34 feet, 9 inches.
• Alma was in action at Aquinas' Little Meet Feb. 10, with Mallory Munderloh (So., St. Louis, Mich.) winning the 1-mile run (5:39.92) to pace the Scots.
• Calvin sent out a split squad last weekend, with Knights competing at both the Grand Valley State Big Meet and Aquinas College Little Meet Feb. 10. Jenna Dyksen (Jr., Hawthorne, N.J.) was a two-time winner at Aquinas, winning both the 200m dash (26.33) and long jump (18 feet, 1.5 inches) with two season-best efforts. Dyksen's two wins were among six victories for the Knights at Aquinas.
• Olivet competed at Defiance's Dick Small Invitational Feb. 10, where Kimberly Barber (So., Gobles, Mich.) not only broke Olivet's triple jump record with an effort of 33 feet, 10 inches, but tallied a school-record time of 8.12 seconds in the 60m dash. Isabelle Leon (Jr., Grand Rapids, Mich.) also notched a program record with her finish in the 800m run (2:26.46).
• Trine took part in the Taylor Invitational Feb. 11, as Jenna Gales (Fr., Mendon, Mich.) set a school record in the 200m dash for the second consecutive week; Gales improved her record time to 26.45 and added a second-place finish in the 400m dash (59.69).
