Week #14 Wrap-Up for April 2-8
• Calvin added two MIAA wins to their season last week, defeating both Olivet and Alma by scores of 9-0. Leah Newhof (Fr., Caledonia, Mich.) was a four-time winner on the week, with two victories coming at No. 1 singles.
• Hope had a split week in four outings, which included a 9-0 victory against Kalamazoo April 3. Claire Hallock (So., Lakeland, Fla.) was a 6-0, 6-2 win at No. 2 singles while adding an 8-3 win at No. 1 doubles.
• Saint Mary's improved to 2-0 in MIAA play with a 9-0 victory at Adrian April 7. After two doubles matches went to tiebreakers, the Belles buckled down to win all six singles contests in straight sets.
• Trine rebounded from an MIAA-opening setback to Saint Mary's last week with two league road victories this week. The Thunder outlasted Adrian April 2, 5-4, Kinnsey Pass (Sr., Lafayette, Ind.) was a winner in straight sets at No. 3 singles after a tie-breaker win at No. 2 doubles.
