Week #12 Wrap-Up for March 19-25

• Calvin added two wins to their 2018 campaign, including a 9-0 result over North Central March 19 and a 7-2 victory against Luther March 23. Anna Asfour (So., Grand Rapids, Mich.) was a two-time winner against Luther, posting wins at No. 2 doubles and No. 3 singles.

• Hope concluded their trip to Florida with a 1-1 week, which featured a 9-0 victory against Hameline March 20. Amanda Bandrowski (So., Traverse City, Mich.) was one of many two-time winners, posting victories at No. 1 singles and No. 2 doubles.

• Kalamazoo returned to action with two wins on the weekend in Florida; in a gutsy 5-4 win over Luther March 25, winning five times in singles play. The match came down to a third-set tiebreak for Bella Russo (So., Clinton Twp., Mich.) at No. 6 singles, where she pulled away 3-6, 7-5, 10-4.

• Saint Mary's was a 6-3 winner at home against Spring Arbor March 22. The Belles benefitted from two wins by Kelsey Kopf (Sr., Carmel, Ind.), who was victorious at No. 3 doubles and No. 3 singles.

• Trine fended off Bethel March 23, 6-3, to conclude their non-conference season. Among the two-time winners for the Thunder were Kinnsey Pass (Sr., Lafayette, Ind.), who triumphed at No. 2 doubles and No. 3 singles.
