Hope and Calvin were semifinal winners Thursday to advance to Friday's MIAA Women's Tennis Tournament championship, set to be hosted by Hope at 4 p.m. at the Vande Poel-Heeringa Stadium.

After taking a 2-1 lead from doubles play, Calvin notched victories at No. 1, 2, and 3 singles to post a 5-3 victory at Saint Mary's. Leah Newhof and Madeline Brouwer parlayed momentum from their 8-6 win at No. 1 doubles to gather straight set wins at No. 1 and No. 2 singles, respectively.
